We’re finally home! On Thanksgiving Day we made our final push to move into the house. It was an exhausting few weeks leading up to it, but we’re finally home. There is still plenty to do, only one bathroom, and the kitchen needs some finishing touches, but it’s livable. It will be much easier to get things done as time permits now. We took advantage of the kinds being home for Thanksgiving break to move some of the furniture in, but we still have several big pieces in the connex and lots of boxes to unpack. Looking around I feel somewhat overwhelmed by all the work that still needs done, but feeling grateful to have a place to call home, and grateful to Robert and Mary Jane for housing us for the past 4 months.
